Schools use a host of different IT solutions – Accounts and fee billing, Administration, HR, Estates Management, Time Tableing, Examination Entries and Report Writing feature heavily amongst the many system requirements. Sometimes its all just a bit bewildering...
So what approach should you take?
Do you go for a one system fits all approach? Normally these just don’t fit the whole school – the Bursary like the accounts package, whilst the teachers can’t stand the report writing module even though the Director of Studies loves the tracking facilities. Does this ring any bells?
The alternative is to look at a series of different solutions. Each is good in its own right, but they all need common data, which results in an army of people inputting the same data into different systems which often end up being out of sync with each other.
The Academic Software Alliance (ASA) is here to helpo you resolve this problem.
Sounds exciting doesn’t it? Well, why not come and meet us at one of our forthcoming events and demonstrations. Whether you’re taking that first step or you are one of the many hundreds of schools already using one of these products, we may help to expand your horizons, save you money and make life easier in the process.
